A playful decision maker for the chronically indecisive

Can't decide what to eat, watch, or do? Julia Sorts is a fun, arcade-style random picker that makes decisions for you. Built as a personal project to solve a real problem (my friend Julia's legendary indecisiveness), I thought it could be a simpler substitute for complex and add-heavy tools out there. I designed and built the entire React app with help of claude.ai.

Design approach

• Dramatic tension: The spinning animation builds suspense before revealing the result, making even mundane decisions feel exciting.
• Retro gaming vibe: Inspired by 90s arcade machines with neon pinks and cyans, chunky buttons, and glowing effects.
• Dead simple UX: Add options, hit the button, get a result. No accounts added.
